Here’s BuyMoreShit, Incorporated / We’re all so deeply captivated
/ There is a price to pay and it’s been long anticipated / It‘s been a slow decay
but now we’re all incorporated / I want no lag and no latency / I’ve lost all sense of
proportion and of priority / I don’t wanna be held, or loved, or kissed / That shit won’t
even make the list / I don’t care about the why, the what, the how / I just need it here and
now / ‘Same day delivery’, does not feel right somehow / I’ve gotten used to instantly so
I have to have it now / Just place it in my hand before I know I need it / I don’t want to
know how, just supply me unimpeded / Now (just give it to me) /

killthelogo’s full length album is a fact. 12 tracks of uncompromising sound and content. This album respectfully revisits the ‘90s metal sound with a fresh and strong message. Co-produced with former .calibre producer Jo Francken and mixed by the great David Bottrill (Tool, Muse, dEUS, Dreamtheater, Placebo, Peter Gabriel, …)
‘Reset’ is an audio-bomb waiting to detonate. From the unapologetic opener ‘Riot As One’ to the +9 min epic closer ‘Translucent’ killthelogo is firing on all cylinders. There’s heavy & snappy riffing on brand new single ‘Buy More Sh!t’, ‘The Deep State’ and the jarring ‘Fuck Your Data’. There’s dark and furious fretwork and nasty gang vocals on ‘Conspiracy’. ‘Iconoclast’ combines a monumental chorus with more melodic almost balladry verses. ‘Clear as Day’ is a maze of curveballs, riffs and counter-rythms and the face-melting ‘Taxes’ is as frantic as a wasp nest set on fire.

It’s been almost 20 years…
This is not a reunion, it is a powerful sequel. This new outfit has taken all that motivation and vision they had with .calibre, back in 2001, and applied it to today’s world. And what an angry and polarised world it has become. The band aims to unite and inspire new and older generations with a new sense of community. It’s a growing and gentle force against the pressures of the power-whores.
With two original .calibre members and a few impressive additions to the line-up, killthelogo brings you new songs and ideas, but also some nostalgic flash-backs to the late 90ies and early 2000 vibes. Both on and off stage. killthelogo dabbles in the frequencies of vital anger and decisive revolt. That is why this music needs to be loud and aggressive. But it also has to be precise, effective, compelling and accessible. Catchy grooves are as important as high-gain volume. With this band, people will understand from the first note, that they are hearing something inescapable and necessary.
killthelogo is a long term project on consumer disobedience & social activism. In the full spirit of its predecessor .calibre, they seek to help translate the drivers of social and political change to the larger public. As a branch in the wide scope of artistic expression, the project wants to be an extra and loud voice in the social debate and the ‘separation of powers’ that safeguard the balance in society.
“The people in killthelogo are just like you, greatly flawed and imperfect. And we are not asking for perfection from anyone. We just hope to rekindle your sense of participation and community. Because that is what the people on those top floors fear most: us, talking to and actually understanding each other. We are you, as much as you are this loud and urgent voice! And we are not ashamed to say that we need you.”
