Portuguese progressive metal band Phase Transition have released their second single, “Veil of Illusions“, which explores themes of self-doubt and personal discovery tied to adulthood, featuring intricate guitar riffs and virtuosic solos that heighten its emotional intensity. The track offers a glimpse into the band’s upcoming debut album, In Search of Being, set for release on June 6, 2025.

After making their mark on some of the biggest Iberian stages, Phase Transition is gearing up to release their debut album, In Search of Being, on June 6, 2025. Their earlier EP didn’t escape the attention of the editors at Prog Magazine, and now the band is ready to take their music even further with this ambitious first full-length release.

The first single, Becoming, (R)evolution, dropped on February 4.
