Maryland’s unflinching alt-metal catalysts, Savage Hands, come back swinging with their brand new single, “POWER”, out now via Oxide Music. Tapping into a more rhythmic, almost hypnotic delivery, Savage Hands lean into a rap-influenced cadence without losing the bite of their signature metal sound. Fans can listen to “POWER” HERE.

Picking up where their previous singles left off, “POWER” moves between a crushing heaviness and almost whispered confessions, creating a push and pull that feels tense throughout. Rooted in a desire for power of vulnerability, the track weaponizes restraint in a way where even the stillness carries a threat. With more new music on the horizon, Savage Hands are taking control of the momentum that’s earned them over 55 million streams.

On the band’s sharpened focus heading into this era, Mike Garrow shares:

“It’s been a long time coming. We’ve spent so much time searching within the music, ourselves, and the industry for what we want from all of this. Trying to define our sound. What we came to find is we had it all along, we just had to come with 100% raw emotion and conviction. Power is the first of many that illustrate what we want to be. No borders, no boundaries.”

Guided early on by multi-platinum producers Andrew Baylis (Jelly Roll, Sleeping With Sirens, etc) and Lee Rouse (The Funeral Portrait, Teddy Swims, etc), Savage Hands have sharpened their craft into a volatile blend of ominous atmosphere, sledgehammer riffs, and skyscraping choruses. A hybrid sound that dissolves the lines between post-hardcore, metalcore, and alternative rock, all while hitting with precision and purpose.

Propelled by the success of previous singles, “Demon”, “Washed Away”, and “Halo”, the quintet have been in constant forward motion since their 2018 debut, amassing over 55 million streams along the way. From steely Maryland roots to festival stages, Savage Hands‘ relentless drive has shaped a previous that thrives on the collision of chaos and catharsis bleeding into one another. With their latest releases, “POWER”, “Trust Issues”, “Reload Repeat”, and “Trace Erase”Savage Hands are opening the door to a new chapter, one that’s heavier, sharper and more unapologetic than anything that’s come before.

Be sure to stay tuned for more Savage Hands news coming very soon.
