Siamese unleash first new music in two years with ‘drown’

Modern metal act Siamese return with their powerful new single ‘drown’, the first taste of a new album campaign following their acclaimed releases HOME (2021) and ELEMENTS (2024). Having amassed more than 100 million streams and toured worldwide alongside heavyweights including Korn, Corey Taylor and Dayseeker, the Copenhagen outfit continue to refine their emotionally charged blend of metalcore and modern rock. “‘Drown’ is self-directed anger,” explains frontman Mirza Radonjica. “It’s about knowing exactly where it hurts and going there anyway. The mirroring in this song is selfdepravating(sic?). I think that when I sing ‘I want you to break me till I drown’, that’s both a confession and a request. My drowning becomes a release, not a punishment.”

The single arrived as Siamese kicked off an extensive US headline tour, ahead of Danish headline shows this spring, major European festival appearances including Copenhell, Impericon Festival and Vainstream, and a European tour with Dayseeker later this year.
