Just a moment ago, Belgian new wave/post-punk/shoegaze pop band The Spectors released the music video for Sharknado. The video was directed, filmed and edited by Didier Lenglaert. The wacko clip is heavily influenced by B-movies and shows the band being attacked by sharks while surfing. The completely instrumental song makes me think of a blend of new wave, surf rock and old school B-movie music. As I mentioned in the earlier article, they want to put the spotlights on the release of a 7″ vinyl with a double A-side (Clyde & Bonnie and Sharknado) for Record Store Day Belgium on April 16th.
