Gaerea unveils its composition and musical faculties with remarkable quality on their fourth studio album “Coma” and show an interesting new approach from these musicians, shifting somewhat towards a more generally extreme metal with an atmospheric post-black vibe, turning this into their best effort yet. Out via Season of Mist since October 25th.
The third offering ‘Eastern Tales’ from the French atmospheric black metal project Belore will be much appreciated by fans of Summoning, Caladan Brood and Emyn Muil. Out via Northern Silence Productions.
The ninth studio album “Heavenly Down” from the Hungarian black metal masters Sear Bliss brings back memories of the past albums in a most breathless passionate spirit; capturing the hallmark of the band. Out via Hammerheart Records, it is a must for fans of symphonic and atmospheric black metal, and highly recommended to anyone who likes Summoning, Forest Silence, and Negură Bunget.
The Swiss atmospheric black metal/ambient act DarkSpace offer an interesting variation on the new album “Dark Space -II”. DarkSpace opted to a highly imaginative listening session, out via Season of Mist on February 16th.
