Swedish melodeath legends In Flames filled Jäähalli in Helsinki with a massive crowd, along with fellow melodeath instigators At The Gates and up-and-comers Imminence and Orbit Culture to warm us up!
Co-Headliners Eluveitie and Amorphis shared the stage with special guest Dark Tranquillity and warm-up act Nailed to Obscurity on their European tour and we caught them at l’Aéronef in Lille, France!
Grilling season was figuratively and quite literally opened when The European Siege tour starring Unto Others, Carcass, Behemoth and Arch Enemy hit Jäähalli in Helsinki with their first sold out show of the tour.

While last night they played a killer show at a sold-out Jäähalli in Helsinki, we caught the show earlier at their stop in the Netherlands!
Ultima Ratio Fest has been bringing a proper collection of metal bands around Europe with Moonspell, Insomnium, Borknagar, Wolfheart and Hinayana. Sadly it seemed the crowd was mostly asleep at this stop at Backstage Munich, regardless some great metal music was played this night!
