During the high time of the festival summer frenzy in 2025, THE GHOST INSIDE stopped over between all the festival gigs at Stuttgart’s LKA Longhorn on June 24 for one of two club shows. Support was given by the Hamburg, Germany-based metalcore band HALF ME.
The Belgian giants of post-metal, AMENRA, are gracing Europe’s stages with a tour in 2025. For over 20 years, the Belgians have unleashed incredible live experiences with their massive stage presence and a furious sonic tornado. The tour kick-off in Stuttgart was no exception. A night with overwhelming sound intensity took place, accompanied by YEAR OF THE COBRA, a project from their recently added new bassist Amy Tung Barrysmith.
20 years of HÄMATOM and an anniversary album are good reasons for the band to go on a ’20 Jahre Für Euch’ tour through Germany and celebrate German metal. With them as support are the Berlin rockers from ENGST, who impressed with their mix of rock, punk, and a pinch of pop. The openers in Stuttgart were the punk rockers from FOCUS.
In over 25 years of band history, the BEATSTEAKS have released eleven long players, including rock masterpieces like “I Don’t Care As Long As You Sing”, “Hand In Hand,” “Hello Joe,” and “Cut Off The Top.” Simply an invitation to sing along at full volume. At this performance at the LKA Longhorn, the band impressively proved that even after countless concerts and festival appearances, they still belong to the most energetic live bands of our millennium. The Black Crowes are back on stages in summer 2024 with their ‘Happiness Bastards’ tour, named after their latest long-player album released earlier this year in March. Together with the Jim Jones All Stars as support act, they bring a detailed classic rock show on the stages. Anneke van Giersbergen, the talented Dutch singer, guitarist and songwriter, has been captivating audiences with her unique blend of rock, metal, and folk music for quite some years. And she’s been on the road exploring new musical territories with her ‘Heavy Strings’ tour in 2024. On the last day of March 2024, there was a wonderful German punk rock evening taking place at Stuttgart’s LKA Longhorn. Berlin 2.0, Drei Meter Feldweg and Schmutzki – a beautifully staffed German language party night took place. No fancy bling-bling, just pure rock and punk in a packed to the core venue.
