“The swamp is a vast poisonous stain on the map that has been swallowing for centuries. It seeks to kill, to erase memory, to extinguish everything that grows, breathes, and creates. Drawing into its cold embrace, it longs to become the one and only silent swamp,” the band explains.

Founded in 1998 in Chernihiv, Ukraine, NATURAL SPIRIT has been a cornerstone of the Ukrainian pagan folk metal scene. With albums like Ruskolun (2004), Sita Rosa (2008), and The Price of Freedom (2011), the band has built a reputation for blending epic metal with traditional folk instruments and themes drawn from Slavic history. Their 2020 release, Під серпом часу, further cemented their status as one of Ukraine’s most authentic and enduring metal acts.
