Rotzak unveils explosive new single ‘Sloom’

Hardcore, Heavy Metal, Jazz

Belgian band Rotzak released their latest single, “Sloom”, the first taste of their upcoming album, ‘HEADRUSH’. Known for their fierce and boundary-pushing sound, Rotzak delivers an explosive track that channels the overwhelming energy of modern life, blending heavy riffs, raw vocals, and relentless rhythms into a powerful sonic statement.

“Sloom” captures the relentless pressure of trying to hold it all together while navigating a world filled with constant stimulation, hypocrisy, and digital facades. The lyrics delve into the struggle for self-improvement amidst chaos:

“I’ve been trying to work on myself lately / Taking the right pills / Dealing with the weak spots / Oh, o man / I just don’t know.”

The track builds into an intense crescendo, mirroring the breaking point where internal tension erupts. With its aggressive energy and unpredictable twists, Sloom is a cathartic release that resonates deeply with listeners feeling the strain of modern life.

Rotzak on “Sloom”:

“Sloom is about the overwhelming chaos of modern life. The constant stimuli and restless energy that build up as you try to keep yourself upright for the outside world. It’s about the breaking point—the explosive moment when the pressure becomes too much and everything blows up.”

Musically, “Sloom”blends Rotzak’s signature hardcore energy with influences from metal, southern rock, and even jazz, offering a relentless yet deeply engaging experience. The band’s raw and unfiltered approach invites listeners to confront their inner turmoil and release it through the power of music.

“Sloom” is now available on all major streaming platforms, accompanied by an electrifying music video that brings the track’s themes to life. The single marks the beginning of the rollout for HEADRUSH. The highly anticipated album will be released via Bearded Punk Records (EU) on vinyl and Charon Collective (US) on CD. Fans can expect more music, live Q&A sessions, and exclusive behind-the-scenes content in the lead-up to the album’s release.
