Steelfest confirmed more names for the 2026 edition

The anticipation for Steelfest Open Air 2026 keeps building, as more names have been revealed for the festival’s stacked underground lineup. Yesterday, the organizers announced the addition of Swedish death metal force Demonical, German black metal outfit Mavorim, the crushing Finnish doom collective Shape of Despair, and one of Finland’s most infamous underground pioneers, Beherit.

This follows last week’s reveal of Brazilian cult act Holocausto and Colombian black metallers Erzebet coming to next year’s event for exclusive shows that you won’t get to see anywhere else anytime soon, further strengthening Steelfest’s reputation for uniting obscure, extreme, and legendary names on one bill.

However, not all news was positive: it was also confirmed that Deströyer 666 will no longer perform at Steelfest 2026.
