Tuska adds a touch of Gothic and industrial to the mix to complete the 2018 line-up!
Tuska Open Air has been around for 20 years now as one of the biggest metal festivals in Finland. We’ve been lucky enough to be able to attend to this great event a few times now (for our report of this year’s edition go here) and you can always be sure of a strong line-up in which there’s a ratio of 50-50 foreign and domestic names, both big and small. This year the festival takes place again at Suvilahti in Helsinki, during the weekend of 29.6 – 1.7.2018. Last month they revealed a mix of synthwave, grindcore, black metal and nu metal to this week add 2 more styles as the last pieces of the puzzle:
Finland’s industrial metal monster Turmion Kätilöt are surprisingly back from their hiatus. Well that works for us: get your latex gloves and stud belts ready, because Turmion Kätilöt are here to show you how it’s done!
And it’s been years since The 69 Eyes last appeared on Tuska stage. This Finnish goth’n’roll legend has been together almost 30 years, and in 2016 they released their 11th studio album ”Universal Monsters”. The Helsinki Vampires are back!
Last act to complete the 2018 line up will be the Tuska-Torstai band contest winner.
