Mors Subita release new video-single ‘Into Eternity’

Death Metal, News

Mors Subita, the modern melodic death metal band hailing from Oulu in Finland’s North, just released their second video single ‘Into Eternity’, taken off their upcoming album “Extinction Era” (out: 30.10.2020).

The second single “Into Eternity“ shows the Finnish soul in Mors Subita due to its melancholic character and is flanked by a music video made by the production team of the successful metal comedy „Heavy Trip“. Together they make clear from the first moment that “Extinction Era“ is not only the next step in the development of the band but a milestone between Modern Thrash and Melodic Death Metal. The first single ‘Sick’ impressively demonstrated that the band has risen their brutality on a completely new level.

Watch the official video ‘Into Eternity’ here:

“’Into eternity’ is a song about family and bonds that last forever. A tribute to the ones dearest to us. Musically it’s a perfect opposite to our last single “Sick” and the best song to showcase the melodic side of our upcoming album,”

says Mika Lammassaari – Mors Subita.

“’Into Eternity’ is an anti-metal music video about lowering your guards and showing the humane off-screen side of the people you usually only see in their performance mode. Hardships, friendships, supporting each other and just really enjoying the fact that you’re in a band.”

Juuso Laatio, video director – Mutant Koala Pictures.

Mors Subita will return with a new masterpiece to be released worldwide via Out Of Line Music on 30th October. Signature riffage, blistering drumming, and crushing bass lines make their identity. Their last album “Into the Pitch Black” proved that this band has only just begun to push the boundaries of their musicianship and songwriting to continue to rise as one of the top emerging acts among the Finnish melo-death elite.

The upcoming Mors Subita album “Extinction Era” can be pre-ordered here

“The album will hit you like a ten-ton hammer in the head. Once you get over the first shockwave, you get a second hammer punch, but the hammer is now on fire, and you are on fire, and everything around you is on fire and then you come to a soothing icecream interlude, but then the ice cream turns to napalm.. and then the hammer again and then again, and again.. and then the album is over. and you feel violated, but strangely good. Then you listen to the album again.”

– Mors Subita

Eemeli Bodde – Vocals
Mika Lammassaari – Guitars, addit. vocals Juho Näppä – Guitars
Mika Junttila – Bass
Ville Miinala – Drums
