Before The Dawn drop behind-the-scenes sing-through video for 'Stellar Effect' • GRIMM Gent

Finnish melodic death metal masters BEFORE THE DAWN have just released a special Sing-Through video for their latest single “Stellar Effect”, taken from the upcoming album Cold Flare Eternal, out September 5th, 2025 via Reaper Entertainment.

In the video, vocalist Paavo Laapotti delivers a powerful full performance of the track, showcasing the full range of his exceptional voice and emotional intensity.

Laapotti rose to public attention during the 2022 season of The Voice of Finland, where he performed the classic BEFORE THE DAWN song “Deadsong” in the finale. That performance made a huge impression on the band’s mastermind Tuomas Saukkonen, who was inspired to revive the band after several years of silence — this time with Paavo as the new frontman.
