Catalyst releases powerful war song ‘Stick To The Plan’ from upcoming new album

Melodic Death Metal, Progressive Death Metal, Progressive Metal

CATALYST, the emerging Belgian band, proudly unveils a new track from their highly anticipated album ‘THE AGE OF ROCKETEERS’ . The latest musical work, titled “STICK TO THE PLAN”, is a stormy and vibrant war song that will take listeners on an intense and immersive journey.

The music was written by Philip, the lead guitarist, whereas the lyrics were inspired by Benjamin, the talented bassist and secondary vocalist of the band, who delivers backing vocals with increased conviction on the new album.

Benjamin shares his thoughts on the creation of the song:

“The lyrics ultimately became a collaboration, inspired by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. It sheds light on the question of how much power one person can have in the face of the devastating consequences of their decisions and the suffering it brings. The feeling of powerlessness, solidarity, and incomprehension forms the foundation of this song. Unfortunately, it remains a relevant topic, a conflict whose end we had long hoped to see.”

With “STICK TO THE PLAN” CATALYST aims to convey a powerful message and raise awareness about the impact of wars and the human experiences that emerge from them. The band skillfully addresses sensitive themes through their musical expression, touching listeners on a deeper level.

“STICK TO THE PLAN” embodies CATALYST‘s distinctive sound, combining energetic melodies and powerful instrumentation to create an immersive listening experience. The band once again proves their ability to push boundaries and express their creative vision through this song.

‘THE AGE OF ROCKETEERS’ promises to be a musical journey that takes the listener on adventurous paths, enriched with emotional depth and impressive musical arrangements. “STICK TO THE PLAN” offers a promising preview of what we can expect from CATALYST.

The release for ‘THE AGE OF ROCKETEERS’ is set for the 9th of September 2023!
