Die Apokalyptischen Reiter sign with Napalm Records

Behold, “Reitermania” is spreading: German genre veterans DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER sign with Napalm Records! The band from Thuringia has been a constant in the scene for over 30 years — in Germany as well as elsewhere due to English lyrics in their early years. Teaming up with the Austrian label juggernaut is a logical next step.

The band is currently working on its 13th studio album. But before they let their latest riff steamroll and hymnic choruses loose upon their host, DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER embark on their ”Schrei!Nachten” Tour, which has become a regular in the post-Christmas program. Between the holidays and New Year’s, the band is celebrating their discography alongside Robse and Disillusion — find all tour dates below.

DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER about the Signing:

”It is sealed: DIE APOKALYPTISCHEN REITER join Napalm Records! A new chapter begins – and we couldn’t be happier. The ink has only just dried on the contract, and we have long been working on what it has always been about for us: New music. For almost two years now, our next studio album has been growing. Countless hours, our lifeblood, sweat, doubts, euphoria – and of course a lot of Reitermania are already a part of it. It will be yours in the summer of 2027. And we can’t wait to have you listen to what we have been working on for so long. Before diving head first into the final studio sessions, we’re set to go nuts with you once more. More sweat, more mania, another round of that special energy between the stage and the audience, before taking the last steps towards the new album. The journey continues. Louder. Wilder. Reiter.”

Napalm Records Senior A&R Sebastian Münch about the Signing:

”The REITER have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — for me, they’re one of the most important German metal bands of all times. I’m excited that we can now be part of their journey as a label, support the band, and help them reach even bigger goals. Welcome to the Napalm family!”
