“The Great Metal Circus 2024” landed in Helsinki, where Avatar turned being at Tavastia that night into something absolutely spectacular and memorable! And the support Æther Realm came all the way from the US to Finland for the very first time, doing a great job at warming up the crowd!

30 years of ‘River Runs Red’, the iconic album of Life Of Agony was brought with bravura and the same grinta as if it was yesterday. The rockers of Prong showed us also that they are alive and kicking, never giving up, and with the night opened by Tarah Who? the night VIERNULVIER in Ghent, Belgium was complete!

Poisonblack returned for a couple more shows in October 2023, organized by Fullsteam Agency. We were present for the gig at Klubi in Tampere, a true celebration of the gothic metal legends they are.

Legendary Belgian metal band Channel Zero finally got to celebrate their 30th anniversary (a few years late due to the pandemic) at Cactus Club in Brugge, a small venue that was a perfect setting for an intense, energetic and somewhat intimate show. Support came from modern metal/nu metal stars on the rise Mantah!

Finally, after 3 years of waiting the “State of Unrest” tour transformed the magical music temple Ancienne Belgique into a pumping meltdown of metalheads. Lamb Of God was the absolute winner of moshpits and crowdsurfing while Kreator treated the German thrash fans. Municipal Waste was the excellent opening act to warm up the audience.

The celebration of 30 years of ‘River Runs Red’ by Life Of Agony at The Black Lab in Wasquehal, France was an intense experience. Prong added some sauce with their celebration of ‘Cleansing’ and some older ones. Tarah Who? did an excellent job to get the fire started.

Amon Amarth and Machine Head came, saw and delivered! The ‘Vikings & Lionhearts tour’ made a stop in Helsinki, Finland and set the room on fire, quite literally… Support came from Swedish melodeath supergroup The Halo Effect.

Gojira took over Europe on their massive ‘Fortitude’ tour with support from up-and-comers Alien Weaponry and Employed To Serve and we caught them at their show at a sold out Jäähalli in Helsinki, Finland in front of a crowd that was absolutely hungry for some good live show!

We had quite a blast at the St. Paddy’s Day Party at The King of Clubs in Columbus, Ohio with great bands, headed by the ever amazing Nonpoint!

A night of quality underground heavy music from the Finnish scene with Enragement, Ninetyfive50 and Crucify The Faith!

Avatar dropped by the legendary Helsinki venue Tavastia on their “The Great Metal Circus 2024” tour, bringing their visual spectacle and theatrics properly to Finland. With them they brought the US metallers of Æther Realm, really blowing up the night!

A chaotic fuelled blood rampage. That’s what Malevolence released upon Newcastle. Together with Rough Justice and Pain of Truth they laid down absolute destruction at the University Students Union!

The second night of John Smith Rock Frozen 2023 was pretty epic with some of the best of the Finnish scene with Red Eleven, Kiuas, Finntroll, Turmion Kätilöt and headliners Amorphis! Throw on top of that the Swedish up-and-comers of Orbit Culture, and you know it was good!

Close to the end of the year 2023 there was an event that has left headbangers around the world in ecstatic anticipation—the Fear Factory ‘DisrupTour 2023’. This monumental tour brings together a powerhouse line-up featuring the ferocious Butcher Babies, Ignea and Ghosts of Atlantis. As these bands join forces, they promise to deliver an unforgettable experience for metal enthusiasts, showcasing a diverse range of styles within the genre.

A hot and sweaty night in the Halle room of the Backstage club in Munich. Fear Factory are back in a big way, and they were joined by Butcher Babies, Ignea and Ghosts of Atlantis, bringing quite the package with the “Disruptour” all over Europe!

Cavalera re-recorded the first two albums of Sepultura (‘Bestial Devastation’ and ‘Morbid Visions’) and are touring the world with them on the “Morbid Devastation” tour! We caught up with them at L’Aéronef in Lille, France, and we saw it was good… Support came from Max’s stepson’s band Incite…

Drowning Pool, Salive, Adelitas Way and Any Given Sin are touring the US with “The SNAFU tour” and we got to enjoy a great night of American metal/rock in Fort Wayne, Indiana!

The last day of a long and exhausting weekend of great music and atmosphere was all about the Belgian music scene at La Morgue with Aeveris, Brutal Sphincter, Hexa Mera, Mantah and Reject The Sickness!

Second day at an exciting edition of Alcatraz with H.E.A.T., Sepultura and Biohazard on the main stage!
