Infernal Angels shared third single & video ‘Rex Mortis’

Black Metal, Melodic Black Metal

On the evening of 16th April, Immortal Frost Productions unveiled the third single and official music video for “Rex Mortis” by the Italian Black Metal band Infernal Angels. Taken from their upcoming seventh full length album “As the First Blood Fell…”, which will be released on 24th of April 2026 on CD, Vinyl & Digital format.

The Italian Black Metal Horde of Infernal Angels return with their 7th full length album «As the First Blood Fell…»
merely 3 years after the release of “Shrine of Black Fire”.

On this record the band explores further into their orthodox and occult sound that was presented already on their previous studio album. More atmospheric and dissonant sounding guitars, more fury and blast beats, more power and hellish bassline entangled with deeper shrieking vocals!

The guitars are once again complex and well variated! Monotone tunes variated with orthodox chord riffing which creates a playful back and forth that keeps each song interesting. The bass guitar pounds its way through the rhythm guitar while adding some highlights on its own. The drums are tight, furious and full of energy and definitely lift the album to a higher level to their complexity and constant pattern change. The vocals are raw, deep and full of chanting throughout the album that sets the right atmosphere for this hellish ritual. Not to forget that Omega from Darvaza and Adramelech from Inferno both lend their vocals on 2 different songs with a welcome change of vocal sound that matches perfectly with XeS.

Infernal Angels managed to return once again with another strong album! Pure Occult Orthodox Black Metal is what you may expect on this record! No gimmicks, no poser shit! Straight forward Black Metal fury! Hail Lucifer!
