King Satan unveiled ‘The Faces of the Devil’!

Black Metal, Industrial, News

Tampere-based industrial metal band King Satan has unleashed the first single from their upcoming album ‘Occult Spiritual Anarchy’, which will be released on April 8th. The single ‘The Faces of the Devil’ and the rather distressing music video made for it were a natural choice as a prelude to the band’s new material – both in terms of composition and lyrics.

Says vocalist King Aleister Satan:

“The idea for The Faces of the Devil was to combine the band’s strongest metal and dance pieces, and create a song to the beat of which you can either dance or spin your hair. Or do both at the same time!

The lyrics, on the other hand, considers the existential and philosophical themes that float around the devil’s archetype. We appreciate absurdity in this band, and we are familiar with the darker areas of the human mind. The Faces of the Devil was an easy choice for the first single. The song goes straight to the point and is a prime example of King Satan’s carnival-industrial metal! ”

Founded by vocalist and multi-instrumentalist King Aleister Satan in 2015, King Satan’s carnivalistic and mischievous extreme metal is perhaps best illustrated by their style of combining themes of philosophy, existentialism and occultism with blasphemy, exploitation and nihilistic black humor.

The band’s absurd and evasive musical style draws its influence from industrial music and death metal as much as electronic dance music and symphonic black metal. In addition to plenty of domestic touring, King Satan has already toured Europe and, in addition to his own headliner gigs, has warmed up to Carpenter Brut, Hocico, Turmion Kätilöt and Perturbator.

The promotion cycle for the Occult Spiritual Anarchy album kicks off spectacularly, as King Satan will next be seen as the warm-up for industrial legend Die Krupps on the European tour in May 2022!

The tour goes as followed:
11.05.22 La Laiterie – Strasbourg (FR)
13.05.22 Shoko – Madrid (ES)
14.05.22 Salamandra – Barcelona (ES)
15.05.22 Le Rex – Toulouse (FR)
16.05.22 Le Petit Bain – Paris (FR)
18.05.22 Musikzentrum – Hannover (DE)
19.05.22 Kaiserkeller – Hamburg (DE)
20.05.22 Weltkunstzimmer – Dusseldorf (DE)
