On Sunday the 14th of September we found ourselves at Tampere’s Tavara-Asema yet again, to see Marko Hietala’s ‘Roses from the Deep’ tour with support of Leverage.
The Rasmus started their ‘Weirdo’ tour at Tavara-Asema in Tampere, Finland on the release day of their new album of the same name, with a setlist full of songs from the new album as well as many of their greatest hits.

Apulanta and Sinfonia Lahti gave us a great experience with their recent gig at the end of August at Tampere’s Ratina Stadium. A massive production by Nelonen Media Live that didn’t leave any needs unsatisfied.
For their recent gig in Tampere’s Tavara-Asema, Viikate went with a different approach with what they called a “quiet concert”. While not everyone was happy with the set up of the gig we really enjoyed the calm and relaxed feeling of the show.

Noora Louhimo Acoustic Experience played a wide variety of songs during their gig at Telakka in Tampere last week. From rock covers, Battle Beast songs over to some of Noora’s own work, the show had something for every taste.

After already having seen Apulanta and Sinfonia Lahti together on their amazing gig last year it was great to see how they elevated this experience even further on their gig at the end of August in Tampere’s Ratina Stadium.
The Rock Orchestra came into town for a show at Tampere-Talo on the 7th of April, where they played some of the most famous Rock and Metal songs with a classical spin.
What happens when two of the most well known power metal bands of the country tour together as co-headliners? Sold out gigs like the one at Tavara-Asema in Tampere last Friday is what happens. Sonata Arctica and Stratovarius, together with support act Arion, made sure to create an evening to remember. An event by Grey Beard Concerts & Management.
Toto finished their ‘The Dogz Of Oz Tour’ with special guest Christopher Cross in front of 8500 fans at Tampere’s Nokia Arena in the beginning of March. Two hours full of rock classics.
Apocalyptica passed through Tampere on their “Plays Metallica vol. 2” tour on January 23rd, where they played in the big auditorium of Tampere-Talo. A perfectly produced evening full of energy and fun that we were able to see thanks to Ginger Vine Management & PR.
Raskasta Joulua played one of their acoustic sets in the sold out Kaleva Church in Tampere on Tuesday the 26th of November. The show turned out to provide a very different experience than their usual gigs. The atmosphere of this show was way more emotional and intimate than its heavier counterparts. What a great event by Master Events.
Apulanta joined forces with Lahtis Sinfonia Orchestra for a couple of unforgettable shows by Nelonen Media Live. We made it to the gig on Friday the 25th of October at Tampere’s Nokia arena, and we had such a good time that the 2,5 hours simply flew by!
Smash Into Pieces and Cyan Kicks are taken over the world one gig at a time, steadily increasing their following and crowds. And these bands filling up Tampere’s Pakkahuone for a night of great fun was a testament to the success of both bands!
With Turmion Kätilöt you always get an amazing disko metal party and with supporting acts Japanese black metal outfit Sigh and the Finnish melancholics of Marianas Rest we got quite the diverse musical evening at Pakkahuone in Tampere, Finland to start a long Easter weekend!
