RECKLESS LOVE shared “Turborider” video

Hair/Glam, News, Rock

After Finnish sleaze and glam rock kings RECKLESS LOVE released the album title track of their upcoming fifth studio album, Turborider, the band has now also unleashed a brand new video clip for the track! Following the latest, 2016-album Invader and a 4-year hiatus, their hotly anticipated Turborider will be out on February 25, 2022 via AFM Records.

80s themes and the modern dark-speaking world of synth wave are the core of the album, as Turborider sees the Kuopio-based band diving deep into the game world and movie moods of the genre and era. The new record is high-energy, synth wave-infused rock with an undeniable 80’s touch, and will most likely make you forget the world around you with its infectious hooks!

“Welcome to the realm of ”Turborider”, created by Pete Voutilainen, the mastermind who also directed the video for the single Outrun.” Says frontman Olli Herman. “The ”Turborider”- video takes you on a more digital journey, back into the deep core imagery of arcade gaming. Back to a time, when VHS and cassette tapes were the cutting edge technology and people wore huge shoulder pads and bright neon colors. In our minds, the world seemed like a way more fun and awesome place to be in back then!! The ”Turborider”- video is exactly like that, only turned up to eleven and updated into 2022. It’s turbocharged and maxed out onto new levels of radness. Surrender to the Turborider.”

RECKLESS LOVE’s upcoming Turborider will be released on February 25, 2022 via AFM Records – and besides Digipak and colored Vinyl, the band is offering something very special to their fans: The limited box set will include the Digipak CD, an autograph card and a handheld videogame! Turborider was produced by Joonas Parkkonen (Apocalyptica, Lost Society) and mastered by Svante Forsbäck (Rammstein, Lordi, Volbeat), the pre-sale is now available at THIS LOCATION!

Furthermore, RECKLESS LOVE were featured in HBO‘s series “Peacemaker“! The track “Monster“, taken from their latest Invader-album, will appeared on last week’s brand new episode. Olli comments:

“When James Gunn hand picked our song Monster to be a part of the soundtrack for his superhero show Peacemaker on HBO, it felt incredible. This is a huge deal to have our song on such a huge show and not only that – what a show it is. I think Peacemaker is hands down the best superhero story I’ve ever seen. Mr. Gunn has created such a well written series that it sinks its hooks on you and keeps you in its grasp from the very first seconds. Then there’s the music. Sheer perfection. The choices could not be better and that’s what makes it feel extra special to have a song on his playlist. We’re in legendary company. This is beyond awesome. Epic stuff.”
