Scotland based black metal act Barshasketh crafted a fine album that is full of detailed sections. Fifth studio album “Antinomian Asceticism” was released via World Terror Committee on January 9th.
Third studio album “Dauþalaikaz” from German black metal band Urfeind offers a cold and bleak kind of black metal. The album comes recommended for fans of Bethlehem and Forteresse, out now via Nine to Zero Productions since January 10th.
“Kadath” takes elements of both modern and vintage black metal to blend a lavish sense of melodies, sweeping the listener towards an atmospheric spectrum. The Great Old Ones conjures an otherworldly musical voyage that will not disappoint their fans, out tomorrow with Season of Mist!
The Greek black metal legends Yoth Iria take a majestic and bombastic direction in their new opus “Blazing Inferno”. Jim Mutilator offers something compelling to fans by capturing the epic majesty of classic Hellenic black metal, released via Edged Circle Productions!
Omegaeternum’s debut full length album “1248” binds epic and mystical atmosphere by unfolding eerie melodies, the Frenchmen have crafted a unique black metal album. Out since November 25th via Ván Records.
Mörk Gryning’s newest album “Fasornas Tid” offers unrelenting aggression and rawness packed with the 90s black metal quality. Out via Season of Mist tomorrow, December 13th.
The uniqueness and quality crowns Djevel’s new album “Natt Til Ende” as one of the best black metal albums of the year, the chant passages are saturated in the grimness of 90s black metal as each riff and melody offers many epic moments. Out via Avantgarde Music.

Paysage d’Hiver’s third studio album “Die Berge” is nothing short of brilliant and conveys the imaginative art of Nordic black metal. Out via Kunsthall Produktionen since November 8th.
Gaerea unveils its composition and musical faculties with remarkable quality on their fourth studio album “Coma” and show an interesting new approach from these musicians, shifting somewhat towards a more generally extreme metal with an atmospheric post-black vibe, turning this into their best effort yet.
