Gig Reports
The Belgian post-metal scene is thriving, and this night proved it. BRUIT≤ pulled the crowd into a dark, cinematic world, while Psychonaut returned home stronger than ever, commanding a sold-out venue with ease and emotion.
Tonight the spice did flow at the Casino in Sint-Niklaas. Musical spice that is, as the homegrown dronesters of Pothamus and the Scottish space guild from DVNE took us on an intergalactic trip to the most supermassive of black holes. Ready for liftoff. Ignition, five, four , three , two , one…
The amount of intensity and energy that came from Igorrr at the Pakkahuone venue in Finland last month, and with them Amenra and Der Weg Einer Freiheit, was something that was perfect to start off the week! If we still somewhat had the Monday blues, they made sure to absolutely blast it away!
Damn, it’s good to be back in business! Our first gig report in a while, and what an honour it’s been to cover none other than our very own killthelogo.
Our first live outdoor festival post corona craze. Would this be the first small step towards normalcy? Join us with local heroes, Psychonaut and Brutus.
Brutus is really the sum of all of its components and although the songs are often loud and a bit dirty, they seem to be built up in a rather fragile way.
When talking about Brutus we’re talking about a band that delivers the same atmosphere and energy live as they produced it on their albums.
We were witness to a night of intimacy and extacy, brought to us by true masters of their realm!
