Party.San Metal Open Air announced the first 27 bands for 2026

Party.San Metal Open Air will take place for the 30th time in 2026, from August 6th to 8th, again at Obermehler Airport near Schlotheim in Germany (about a 4-hour drive from Venlo).

The festival has announced the first 27 bands for 2026, including Testament, Hypocrisy, and Amorphis, as well as Firespawn, Desaster, In The Woods, Wolfbrigade, Sorcerer, Wormed, Sear Bliss, Tulus, Mammoth Grinder, and Jungle Rot.

Party.San Metal Open Air is a festival featuring the more extreme/harder metal genres (including thrash, death, black, grind, metalcore, and doom). Bands that have played P:S:O:A regularly include Dying Fetus, Behemoth, Primordial, Watain, Marduk, Bloodbath, and Unleashed, to give you an idea of the lineup each year.

At Party.San Metal Open Air, you can also camp of course, and do it the old-school way, with your tent next to your car-no problem! The festival keeps things manageable; with approximately10,000 visitors and two stages, there’s never a long walk or a long queue to get in or to get a drink, food or a shower.
