Cross Bringer announces new album ‘Healismus Aeternus’ and share new single

Black Metal

Cross Bringer is set to unleash their highly anticipated second album, Healismus Aeternus, on February 21, 2025, via Consouling Sounds (EU) and Silent Pendulum Records (USA). To mark the occasion, the band has unveiled a gripping new single, “Desolation Hypnosis,” which premiered at Invisible Oranges.
Invisible Oranges had this to say about the track: “They oscillate between speedy staccato stretches and airy dirges, shifting gears without a moment’s notice to highlight the contrast. Each speed operates with a venom so strong that you’d swear it was created in an underground lab.”

Cross Bringer · Desolation Hypnosis

Five years after their uncompromising debut album The Signs of Spiritual Delusion, Cross Bringer, a four-piece band formed in 2019 by members of Predatory Void, Reka, Hoari, and other influential acts, returns with their second album, Healismus Aeternus.

Still separated by long distances and limited by the inability to travel and play live, the band underwent a major change ahead of recording their material: exceptionally skilled drummer Michael Kadnar (Downfall of Gaia, Silent Pendulum Records) infused the band with fresh new blood.

Written, recorded, and produced between Russia, Cyprus, America, and Belgium, Healismus Aeternus delves deeper into the intricate phenomenon of Prelest—spiritual delusion. However, more melodically enriched than its predecessor, there’s no deflection in the heaviness of this body of work. Tension and aggression run high.

Lyrics written and performed by Lina (Predatory Void) evoke vivid imagery of transformation, where the self is both filled and altered by profound experiences, intertwined with the remnants of existence. On a journey through the fragile confines of the mind, the weight of delusional imagination eats away at the struggling identity, leaving behind an emptiness that threatens to consume.

The guitar work of Sanya (Reka, Hoari) and Artemy (Smile to the Wind) oscillates between moments of chaos and serene introspection, embodying the struggle for enlightenment and self-reflection.

As Cross Bringer navigate themes of spiritual confusion and self-discovery, the album becomes not just a collection of songs but a profound exploration of the human experience. It challenges listeners to reflect on their own beliefs and perceptions, making Healismus Aeternus a captivating journey into the depths of mind and spirit.
