Colombian metal band ESHTADUR signed with Rockshots Records and announced their new album, “In Darkness All Shadows Gone,” arriving October 2. Now, ESHTADUR is releasing their first new single and music video, “Into The Woods”, alongside the release of their official music video.

Epic and headbanging, built on shredding, alternate-picked riffs and powerful vocals, “Into The Woods” plunges listeners into a dark, mystical atmosphere from its very first note. Rooted in themes of inner turmoil and shamanic awakening, the track confronts the shadows of the past and invites listeners to disconnect from the world’s noise for a solitary descent into the self. Heavy, mosh-worthy instrumentation forges a soundscape that is as brutal as it is immersive, marking the first step into the woods and into the world of the album.

That world continues where “From the Abyss” left off. Where the band once explored the profound loss of being, “In Darkness All Shadows Gone” follows a crow’s escape from the abyss as it becomes an initiate of conjuring, master of its own darkness, and apprentice of its own ancient power, until, in darkness, all shadows fade and there is only you. Alone.

“Into The Woods is the first call of the journey. In the music video, our frontman is led by a crow into the forest, which is the first dimension of the album. It’s an invitation to leave the noise behind and go in alone, to face your own self-delusions. Ancestral chants open the way for the riffs, and from there it only gets darker. This is where the conjure begins.”

The crows from Colombia embody a deathly melodic atmosphere that reaches into realms of darkness and despair through the decay of humanity. It seeks to rebel, in its darkened way, embracing the abject reality. ESHTADUR have shared stages with Cradle of Filth, Behemoth, Hate, In Flames, Sepultura, and many more and have stood as the only Colombian band in the lineup at 70,000 Tons of Metal in 2023, touring three continents across four albums.
