In mid-May, Ääniwalli became a vortex of technical brutality and progressive intensity as Born of Osiris brought their tour to Helsinki. With support from death metal and deathcore juggernauts Ingested, the genre-bending Entheos, and Portugal’s The Voynich Code, the night unfolded as a showcase of modern metal’s most forward-pushing acts.
Caliban tore through Ääniwalli with their “Back From Hell Tour 2025,” backed by In Heart’s Wake, Cabal, and Assemble the Chariots. A night of relentless energy and crushing breakdowns!

August 30 20224 was like an unholy pilgrim for any and all metalheads around Finland (and even beyond) when Beherit, one of the most revered Finnish black metal bands of all time, played one of their rare live shows at Ääniwalli in Helsinki. The greatest black metal concert our reporter has ever witnessed.
A couple of months ago, the French vikings of Skáld came to put a spell on everyone that showed up at Ääniwalli with their Nordic folk and turned the night into one to remember. Support came from the hurdy-gurdy maestro Guilhem Desq, an event by All Things Live Finland.
