Helsinki Vampires The 69 Eyes celebrated in grand style their classic breakthrough album ‘Devils’ 20th anniversary at Ääniwalli in Helsinki a couple of weeks ago, and we were there!

In mid-May, Ääniwalli became a vortex of technical brutality and progressive intensity as Born of Osiris brought their tour to Helsinki. With support from death metal and deathcore juggernauts Ingested, the genre-bending Entheos, and Portugal’s The Voynich Code, the night unfolded as a showcase of modern metal’s most forward-pushing acts.

Caliban tore through Ääniwalli with their “Back From Hell Tour 2025,” backed by In Heart’s Wake, Cabal, and Assemble the Chariots. A night of relentless energy and crushing breakdowns!

Pictures of a sold-out night with melodic metal legends Dark Tranquillity, gothic metal institution Moonspell and German promises Hiraes at Ääniwalli in Helsinki!

They’re celebrating a quarter of a century long career this year, but last November we still caught Comeback Kid in Helsinki while on tour through Scandinavia and Europe! A real bombshell of a hardcore music night with amazing support bands Spaced and Prowl warming up the crowd!

1349 and Kampfar joined forces to invade Europe with their Norwegian black metal onslaught and brought along the Danes of Afsky, and we caught them at their stop at Ääniwalli in Helsinki for a much needed black metal fix at the start of our week!

When a legend like John Lydon comes to a venue near you with his almost as legendary band Public Image Ltd., you know you can’t miss out! And so did our photographer when they took over the stage at Ääniwalli in Helsinki with the support of local hardcore punk heroes Bob Malmström!

A couple of months ago, All Things Live Finland brought the French Nordic folk collective Skáld to the Finnish shores with support from hurdy-gurdy virtuoso Guilhem Desq to celebrate music inspired by the past, brought to the now at Ääniwalli in Helsinki.

August 30 20224 was like an unholy pilgrim for any and all metalheads around Finland (and even beyond) when Beherit, one of the most revered Finnish black metal bands of all time, played one of their rare live shows at Ääniwalli in Helsinki. The greatest black metal concert our reporter has ever witnessed.

A couple of months ago, the French vikings of Skáld came to put a spell on everyone that showed up at Ääniwalli with their Nordic folk and turned the night into one to remember. Support came from the hurdy-gurdy maestro Guilhem Desq, an event by All Things Live Finland.

A report on a captivating night with the ever impressive Author & Punisher in the industrial district of Helsinki…

Old school D-beat hardcore instigators Discharge came back to Finland for a night during which they almost literally brought the house down!

The Swedish vikings of Amon Amarth brought their Berserker around the world, and with them their countrymates of Arch Enemy and Hypocrisy!
