The celebration of the BlackJazz album by the Norwegians of SHINING at the Kafka in Antwerp was an intense orgasmic experience for your ears. Support came from local metal heroes Powerstroke.

After it seemed we were getting no show at all, we ended up having a blast at one hell of a rock show by Danko Jones!

On the 3rd of January, long-haired stoners gathered at Kavka, Antwerp to see Karma To Burn play!

On the 4th of November, the first edition of grindcore and noise festival Grind Waarpen took place at Kavka in (of course) the beautiful city of Antwaarpen!

We’re taking you with us on a trip to a totally different plane field with 5 bands of the highest quality atmospheric black metal…

After thirty years and counting, The Slackers are still rude & reckless and stronger than they ever were on stage at Kavka in Antwerp. A true live band that found support from local band Moodcollector.

Last week I finally had the chance to see Zebrahead perform live with The Bottom Line at Kavka, a small club in my home town Antwerp.

After bringing Danko Jones to Zappa last year, our friends from MCLX flew in some more Canadian power. This time they presented us the smooth southern rock of Monster Truck and as support they brought Royal Tusk.

Darkness. Cold. Fire. Silence. A big crowd. Mistery. A missing band. And a climactic bang!
Sounds like an episode of Game of Thrones? Nope! I’m talking about Danko Jones passing through Zappa, Antwerp.

In October our friends from Bearded Punk Records managed to get Frenzal Rhomb all the way from Australia to Kavka, Antwerp. As if that wasn’t reason enough to rush out for a ticket they threw in some of the godfathers of Belgian punk rock F.O.D.! Before F.O.D. played You Nervous? shook the stage and as a warm up Bearded Punk’s own For I Am gave it their best.

The visuals of a mesmerizing night of atmospheric black metal that took us to a completely different world…
