‘Lordiversity’’s second dics is called ‘Superflytrap’ is probably the most fun of the whole bunch and the farthest away from anything you would regularly recognize as being Lordi. It’s a full on homage to seventies disco pop music. A rather funny intro involving a Barbie bimbo, a pizza delivery boy and the pool guy could have lead into triple X rated blue movie, but instead it raises the temperature in other ways with the disco fever of ‘Macho Freak’. Think disco balls, ridiculously colourful outfits and big hairdos. Wait, that’s what Lordi is always about no? Bar the disco balls maybe. For a second there I though Rasputin and Boney M would even join the pool party.

The superfly hits just keep on flying. ‘Believe Me’ could have been an ABBA song and ‘Spooky Jive’ brings in da funk. Staying alive after fleeing the ‘City of the Broken hearted’ , ‘Bella from Hell’ even has some incredibly soulful backing vocals in between its gory grooves. The boogieman boogie continues ‘Gonna Do it’ and the made for loving me ‘Zombimbo’, also the track that was featured on the ‘Killection‘ release. To top it all off, the moment supreme comes in the form of the incredibly corny ballad ‘Cinder Ghost Choir’. This closing track is so full of cheese your bowels will get blocked just by listening to it.
