Dead Man Gospel release new single ‘Black Clouds’
Dead Man Gospel return with ‘Black Clouds’, the follow-up to their debut single ‘Let It Burn’. Where the first track leaned electronic, this one goes for a more direct, visceral deathcore, building to a massive, crushing breakdown, with the electronics pushed to the background to color the metal structure.
The imagery is apocalyptic: cities on fire, skies collapsing, a world reduced to ash. ‘Black Clouds’ frames collapse as collective ritual, war as liturgy, human sacrifice as a mechanism hidden in plain sight. There’s no redemption here, only a clear-eyed reckoning with a present that’s devouring itself.
Dead Man Gospel started with years of silence, and the need to do something with what accumulated in the dark.
This is the weight of feeling dead inside, and discovering you’re more alive than ever. The sound pulls from opposite ends: modern metal and extreme electronics colliding into something uncompromising and without mercy. The soundtrack to a world that stopped making sense, and the refusal to go quietly.
The four members come from Forgotten Tears and other projects across the Italian underground, and they collectively carry years of stages across Europe, the UK, Russia, Mexico, and Southeast Asia, with past bills alongside Fear Factory, Between the Buried and Me, Bad Omens and many others.
