HOODED MENACE release second new track of ‘The Tritonus Bell’
Death Doom outfit HOODED MENACE are now unveiling the second new song ‘Chime Diabolicus’, which is taken from the band’s upcoming release ‘The Tritonus Bell’. The album is scheduled for world-wide release on August 27th, 2021 via Season of Mist. The track can be listened to via the official Season of Mist YouTube channel HERE.
Guitarist Lasse Pyykkö comments on the new album and track:
“Just like the lead single ‘Blood Ornaments,’ the second premiere track ‘Chime Diabolicus’ showcases very well where Hooded Menace is in 2021, offering some 80´s heavy metal vibes, catchy and powerful vocals, better crafted solos, and a faster pace while never forgetting the band´s roots in slow death/doom style. Actually, the slower riff, somewhere in the middle of the song where the second solo kicks in, is one of our heaviest.”

With the immaculate songwriting skills and the perfect balance between harsh death metal fueled outbursts and exquisite melodic melancholy, HOODED MENACE unleash skeletal horror and somber despair onto their craving audience with ‘The Tritonus Bell’! With their upcoming sixth album ‘The Tritonus Bell’, HOODED MENACE threw in more classic 80´s Heavy Metal, such as KING DIAMOND and MERCYFUL FATE, resulting to the most up tempo (but never fast) HOODED MENACE album with the catchiest song material to date!
Harri Kuokkanen – Vocals
Lasse Pyykkö – Lead and rhythm guitar, bass
Teemu Hannonen – Rhythm guitar
