Premiering exclusively as a lyric video on YouTube, “Dark Mountain” invites you to ascend the desolate heights of Hellenic melodic black metal majesty.

A brooding, mid-tempo colossus wrapped in dark melodies and sorrow-laden fury, “Dark Mountain” captures LLOTH at their most atmospheric and evocative. This track summons the oppressive weight of solitude, inner struggle, and ancient mysticism, wrapped in layers of haunting melodies and massive guitar walls.

With production helmed by George Emmanuel (Lucifer’s Child, ex-Rotting Christ) at Pentagram Studio, “Dark Mountain” delivers a rich, immersive soundscape, further enhanced by a gripping lyric video that visualizes the descent into shadow.

The flames of Hellenic black metal burn brighter than ever as LLOTH unleashes their long-awaited second full-length opus, “Archees Legeones (Ancient Legions)”, on May 9th, 2025. This release cements LLOTH’s place as a defining force in the Hellenic black/death metal pantheon, a thunderous tribute to ancient glory, unyielding strength, and the enduring legacy of their late founder, Tristessa.

“Archees Legeones” shows that LLOTH doesn’t rely on excess to make an impact. The album stays close to the roots of Hellenic black metal while avoiding the traps of imitation or nostalgia. It’s a focused work, built with intention, where every part feels necessary. The sound is raw but never careless, and the songwriting is tight without being sterile.
