The festival summer is over again and some people might feel a black hole that used to be filled up with good music, sun (or rain), beer and friends. Autumn is at the door and winter is approaching… so what now? We have a couple of tips for you to look into. Since we’re mostly active in Belgium and Finland at the moment, there might be more of a focus on events there but every single one deserves your attention for its uniqueness and greatness! Next on the list: Evil or Die Fest 2019!

What to expect

Every year in October, Evil Or Die Fest brings some of the best Belgian and international artists to Roeselare. With on the Friday a focus on mostly hardcore and the Saturday the reigns are firmly taken over by metal. This year you can find the following:

So, on Friday the Belgian hardcore scene is represented by ARKANGEL, STAB and MINDWAR in good company from USA-based BACKFIRE! and HOODS, UK bands KNUCKLEDUST and BRUTALITY WILL PREVAIL and the French sludge outfit HANGMAN’S CHAIR. A hard-hitting, heavy, pounding night is what you can expect here…

On the Saturday we get some of the absolute top of the Belgian metal scene with EVIL INVADERS, CARNATION, SLAUGHTER MESSIAH, GUILTY AS CHARGED, AT THE FRONT, DEAFCON, SOLITUDE WITHIN and FLATCHET CREED. If that wasn’t enough yet, they topped off the bill with the Danish thrash/groove guys of HATESPHERE (believe me, they are a riot live!) and the Italian symphonic death maestros of FLESHGOD APOCALYPSE. The foundations of the city will shake to its core…

EVIL OR DIE FEST 2019 will take place on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 October 2019. And as usual the place to be is Zaal kerelsplein in Roeselare (address: Acaciastraat 6).
