PARKWAY DRIVE is full into their ’20 Years Anniversary Tour Europe’ and we caught them recently at their show at Schleyerhalle in Stuttgart, Germany with an impressive stage production including tons of pyro and floating stage elements. And of course they brought friends, in the form of two fellow bands from Down Under: THE AMITY AFFLICTION and THY ART IS MURDER. This explosive package is the real deal for any die-hard metalcore fan! If this tour hits up a city near you, don’t miss out on this!
Day 2 of this year’s TollRock Festival had a great list of artists on the line-up. TollRockerz Band Contest is the yearly opening act of the Saturday procedures. Moonshot, Saint City Orchestra, Kissin’ Dynamite, Donots and Five Finger Skull Crushers were building the electrifying list of acts that appealed to a wide variety of rock, punk, Irish folk and metal fans. In combination with the special atmosphere and location making TollRock a Germany summer festival highlight.
TollRock 2025 Day 1 was not only blessed with wonderful weather but with an impressive line-up on the first day. Starting with Lost Sanity (TollRockerz Band Contest Winner 2024), followed by April Art, Emil Bulls, Fiddlers Green, Skindred and Rock Rising gave an impressive list of artists. The audience was thrilled by the great live performances of all bands on stage. The expectations for day 2 have been raised to an almost unbeatable level.
During the high time of the festival summer frenzy in 2025, THE GHOST INSIDE stopped over between all the festival gigs at Stuttgart’s LKA Longhorn on June 24 for one of two club shows. Support was given by the Hamburg, Germany-based metalcore band HALF ME.
A couple of months ago, TuskaLive brought the highly popular Tokio Hotel to Kulttuuritalo in Helsinki for a show the was filled with positivity and love! A wonderfully theatrical experience that was amazing to see!
The Belgian giants of post-metal, AMENRA, are gracing Europe’s stages with a tour in 2025. For over 20 years, the Belgians have unleashed incredible live experiences with their massive stage presence and a furious sonic tornado. The tour kick-off in Stuttgart was no exception. A night with overwhelming sound intensity took place, accompanied by YEAR OF THE COBRA, a project from their recently added new bassist Amy Tung Barrysmith.
At the end of March it was time for a fantastic rock and metal opera in Stuttgart’s Schleyerhalle, Tobias Sammet’s multi musician project Avantasia held court. A fantasy stage layout built the base for a 3-hour spectacle that was packed with a long line of guest vocalists.
The German alternative metal band ENEMY INSIDE is on the road to promote their latest studio album, ‘Venom’, out via Reigning Phoenix Music. Accompanying them are LETTERS SENT HOME, completing the line-up for the ‘Venom Europe Tour 2025’ as the support act for the majority of the stops. One of the 18 gigs took place in Stuttgart, in the cosy club atmosphere of ‘Im Wizemann Studio’.
THUNDERMOTHER’s ‘Dirty & Divine Tour 2025’ brought together an almost 100% female rock night. Together with COBRA SPELL and VULVARINE a great night of classic heavy and hard rock is traveling around Europe and we got to see them in Stuttgart on the first leg of the tour. The tour will go on with the second leg, kicking off on 21 March 2025. Get your tix soon, it might sell out fast.
20 years of HÄMATOM and an anniversary album are good reasons for the band to go on a ’20 Jahre Für Euch’ tour through Germany and celebrate German metal. With them as support are the Berlin rockers from ENGST, who impressed with their mix of rock, punk, and a pinch of pop. The openers in Stuttgart were the punk rockers from FOCUS.

Chris Maragoth just released his first album, ‘Gatherer of Souls’. Some of the songs have already been released before, and have been remastered for this album. Some songs are brand new. This album contains mostly instrumental melodic death metal/modern metal tracks, worked on by Chris alone or together with other artists, bringing a lovely collection of melodeath-inspired modern metal tracks!
