The 18th edition of Alcatraz is shaping up to be historic with headliners Arch Enemy and Alestorm, legends like Soulfly, Saxon, Body Count, Rose Tattoo, extreme assaults from Immolation, Internal Bleeding, 200 Stab Wounds, Sanguisugabogg, and modern favorites like Kittie, Northlane, Animals As Leaders, The Ghost Inside.

Deathgrind legends Misery index are back with full force with their latest exploit ‘Rituals of Power’. Less grind, more thrash, but still full-on death metal.
“Cease to Exist” is Noisem’s best effort to date and it has all the grinding elements of old school metal, this is more of a mixed up styles which have been compacted into one massive package.
Overkill are still bloodthirsty and they never get old, their music is straightforward topped with tempos and classic thrash metal tunes.
Chilean thrash, Bay Area influenced but with that little extra touch. A great debut album by Critical Defiance. And may many more albums follow.
