Tómarúm signs with Vesperian

Black Metal, Death Metal, Extreme metal, Progressive Metal, Symphonic Black Metal, Symphonic Death Metal, Symphonic Metal

There are bands that take time to find their home — and then there are bands whose music makes the wait feel entirely worth it. TÓMARÚM, the progressive symphonic black/death metal force hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, has announced their signing with Vesperian, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting new chapter for one of the underground’s most distinctive voices.

TÓMARÚM have built their reputation methodically and without compromise. Across two critically acclaimed full-length albums – “Ash in Realms of Stone Icons” (2022) and “Beyond Obsidian Euphoria” (2025) – , the band established themselves as a rare breed: composers willing to let complexity breathe, layering sweeping orchestration over punishing extreme metal architecture without ever sacrificing the raw emotional weight that makes the genre matter. Both records were met with widespread praise from press and the metal community alike, cementing TÓMARÚM‘s standing as a band operating several leagues above their profile.

Now, with Vesperian behind them, that profile is set to change.

Philipp Schulte of Vesperian comments:

“Tómarúm are exactly the kind of band Vesperian exists for — artists who treat extreme metal as a genuine compositional language rather than a formula. Their ability to move between devastation and beauty without losing either is rare, and we believe the record they are making will reflect that. Welcome to Vesperian!”

The signing comes with news that will quicken the pulse of anyone who has been following the band: new music is already in the works, with a third album expected to arrive in the first half of 2027. If their previous output is any indication, the wait will be well rewarded.

The band comments:

“A new epoch of TÓMARÚM is upon us; one in which our creative vision has been refined to its sharpest point thus far. Our third album, a journey through sylvan realms far beyond the reaches of Obsidian Euphoria, is currently being recorded and will see the light of day next year. Tales of deep introspection, loss, longing, and hope await as we pass through the astral gates and into emerald rains.

To mark this occasion, we are proud to unveil a new logo, forged by the inimitable AILESSANGLANTES, as well as our partnership with Vesperian. Philipp has already crafted a formidable roster and catalog that we are honored to be a part of, and has shown a level of enthusiasm and care for the band that made signing a no-brainer. Sylvan hails to all who have supported us thus far. Onwards!”

Stay tuned for further updates on TÓMARÚM‘s forthcoming record via Vesperian‘s official channels.
