Tuhdimmat Tahdit announces more artists for 2026 edition
Pirkanmaa’s largest rock festival, Tuhdimmat Tahdit, continues to expand its 2026 lineup with a new wave of notable domestic and international acts. The festival will take place on 3–4 July 2026 at Ratinanniemi in Tampere.
The event had previously confirmed major names including Europe, Saxon, and Beast In Black, and now adds several strong rock and metal artists to the bill.

Among the newly announced acts is the rising Finnish heavy rock name Hokka, which has been drawing attention with its modern sound. Bringing their distinctively dark and melodic Finnish rock to the stage is Viikate, known for their melancholic atmosphere and heavy riffs.
Also set to perform is one of Finland’s most beloved metal bands, Mokoma, recognized for their uncompromising mix of aggression, technical precision, and memorable melodies. Joining them is Lemi’s own Stam1na, famed for their explosive live energy and sharp expression.
On the international front, Canadian hard rock powerhouse Danko Jones brings their straightforward, grooving rock’n’roll to Tampere. Finnish hard rock veterans Peer Günt will also take the stage, delivering iconic songs and decades of experience.
Last week’s announcements already strengthened the program considerably. As pioneers of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Saxon will bring classic heavy metal power and timeless anthems to Ratinanniemi. Beast In Black, currently touring arenas as part of Helloween’s 40th anniversary tour, combine modern metal with infectious melodies and stadium-sized choruses. Internationally successful Battle Beast will also appear at Tuhdimmat Tahdit, fronted by their new singer Marina La Torraca.
The lineup further features Finnish gothic metal classic Charon, who returned to live stages last year, as well as Nyrkkitappelu, whose raw and energetic punk is sure to ignite the crowd.
More artists will be announced later, with the day-by-day schedule to be revealed in the spring.
“Tuhdimmat Tahdit is once again shaping up to be a strong and diverse whole. The artists announced now represent exactly the energy, heaviness, and joy of rock that the festival is known for,” comments promoter Kari Penttinen.
