Not unfitting for funeral doom, the debut EP from Dutch duo Angmodnes, ‘The Weight of Eternity’ has been 9 years in the making. Full of majestic, morose melancholy, the album was released on Black Lion Records on September 30.

Steelchaos day 2 was yet another spectacle, both musically and visually, with shows from Chevalier, Horna, Cadaveric Incubator, Torture Killer, Lord Fist and the epic “Black Metal” anniversary celebration by Venom Inc.!
Steelchaos day two was clearly the main day for many people as it clearly drew the biggest crowd with a fantastic lineup from old school heavy metal from Chevalier and Lord Fist to skull crushing death metal from Cadaveric Incubator and Torture Killer and to good ol’ Finnish black metal from Horna. And of course the much anticipated anniversary show by Venom Inc. celebrating the 40th anniversary of the classic ‘Black Metal’ album!

While last night they played a killer show at a sold-out Jäähalli in Helsinki, we caught the show earlier at their stop in the Netherlands!
