Ireland’s Dead Label: New single and video out after transformation into quartet!

Death Metal, Groove Metal, News

Stronger than ever: After years of making an impact on today’s metal world as a three piece Dead Label are now back at it – with a single and an addition to the band. The release of their cinematic video False Messiah is also the introduction of their new second guitar player Mick Hynes. His new band mates explain their excitement:

“We toured a lot as a three piece so this is a huge shift for Dead Label, but ultimately one that allows us more depth and a bigger, heavier, louder sound, Mick is the perfect fit for us, his talent, ambition, drive and enthusiasm is everything we need for Dead Label. He is the perfect fit. We have known Mick for years, as we played gigs with his other band This Place Hell, but when we decided to add a second guitar player he was the only man for the job.”

The feeling is mutual, Mick states:

“I think Dead Label is the band I was meant to be in”.

With False Messiah there now is the first impressive glimpse of what you can expect from Dead Label in 2019, who are driven by enthusiasm, limitless energy and the impulse of a new band member to work on their third album due this summer. Touring plans are in the making and besides more festivals to be announced, Dead Label will make an appearance at Metal Days this summer!

“We feel False Messiah as a track shows other elements of our sound, and a little taste of what to expect from the album, however this is just the beginning.”

The band’s comment about the video:

“The video for False Messiah was done by the amazing Grupa13 from Poland. We have been huge fans of Grupa13 for a long time. Their work is incredible. When we sent them the track, they came back with this idea and it was perfect for the lyrics and theme of the song. When we arrived in Wroclaw to film the video, we were met with the upmost professionalism and respect and every aspect of dealing with Grupa13 has been professional, wonderful and easy. They are so good at what they do and a pleasure to deal with. The whole day of filming was amazing. We had nothing to worry about except enjoying the video and it was so much fun. We will most definitely be returning to work with them in the future.”
