The last names of Steelfest 2018 have been unleashed upon the world!

Black Metal, Death Metal, Folk Metal, News, Thrash Metal

This year was our first time visiting Steelfest Open Air in Hyvinkää, Finland and we liked what we saw (for our report go here). The festival brings every year an impressive selection of the best of underground metal, ranging from black metal to doom metal to death metal and everything in between. Going for quality rather than quantity, you can be rest assured that (usually) there is not a single bad artist to be found. After a very successful and interesting SteelChaos (read our report here) the organisation unleashed the last 7 names for Steelfest 2018 to complete the enticing line-up:

As one of the headliners the black metal outfit from Sweden, Watain, will bring their ritual us with their usually massive show. After a blistering set at SteelChaos, Deströyer 666 will be coming back to Finland to unleash the wolfpack upon us and so will the Finnish pagan black band Havukruunu. Going on with the pagan theme, the Finnish melodic black/folk band Hin Onde will be gracing us with their presence on stage for the first time since long. And after an amazing show of the Chinese black metal band Zuriaake last year, for the next edition there’s another Asian black metal band flying over: Cohol from Japan! Another visitor from overseas is the New York-based black metal outfit One Master and their occult black metal and last but not least, German black/death metal band Necros Christos will be at Steelfest with their first show in 2 years of silence and we can expect some new songs being played live!

Tickets will go fast and are available here. The damage is:

  • 2-day ticket price is 88€ (+Tiketti)
  • 1-Day ticket price 59€ (+Tiketti)
  • Combo: 2 Day festival ticket and school accommodation 123 € (+Tiketti) Capacity in Combo Tickets ONLY 200pcs !

Get your tickets now or get them soon! You don’t wanna miss out on this event…
