As every year is the case, Alcatraz Festival has plenty of space and attention for the local Belgian scene and we’re not the only ones happy about that. On the newly expanded Thursday warm-up night you’ll get to enjoy cover/tribute bands like Mr. Lipstick and the Lost Traces, Motörheads and BelgianQuoBand, the popular thrash/speed metallers of Evil Invaders and a stage filled with more underground like Sister May, Kerker, Stung, Violent Sin and Ancient Rites!
In 10 days, Kortrijk in Belgium, will turn the heavy up again with Hell’s Balls Belgium, just like they do every summer with Alcatraz festival. In case you weren’t sure yet why you should go, here are what we think are valid reasons for you to be there…
