Dutch symphonic metallers Delain are on tour to present their new album “Dark Waters”, released earlier this year via Napalm Records, and we caught them on stage at De Casino in Belgium with the support of label mates Xandria!

The Hickey Underworld is back! After a break of eight years, they are ready to slap you in the face once again with their quirky alternative rock music. We caught them at their show at Great Gigs in the Park in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium together with the space rock/psych punk of Penus and poetry reading from Johan Sebastiaan Stuer.

An evening full of fun, for young and old, with one of Belgium’s best and most popular metal bands of the past 3 decades: Channel Zero; with support from Temptations for the Weak.

35 years. That’s how long it’s been since Agnostic Front recorded their earth shattering debut album “Victim In Pain”. A reason to celebrate. And why not with a tour while we’re at it?!

Recently the living gods that are Tool announced a new tour and the Dutch date sold out in a matter of minutes and if you want to see them in Belgium you’ll have to visit Rock Werchter, where they’ve played a legendary gig as well 12 years ago. We already had a taste at De Casino, Sint-Niklaas with Belgian tribute band Ænima.

On friday october fifth legendary indie rockers “The Fratellis” finally honored Belgium with another visit after so many years. Better yet, they played in one of the most beautiful venues Belgium has: De Casino. Opening for The Fratellis was a band called Mona from Nashville, Tennesee. Forty five minutes have seldom passed so quickly.

Our site is dedicated to everything rock and metal with a few sidesteps in music that appeals to the same music fans like synthwave, neo (pagan) folk, industrial,… But some of us do have a taste for music and art that goes beyond these limitations. Enter “GRIMM goes rogue”: where you’ll get a metalhead, punker, rocker,… who ventures into realms beyond their usual habitat with an open mind and give their honest opinion, views and experiences.

Archspire blasted their way to Belgium for the third time this year, taking along Inferi, Vulvodynia and Beneath The Massacre for the European tour known as the Tech Trek. Local heroes When Plagues Collide stood in for local support!

Swallow The Sun live

Even in springtime, any excuse is good for a doomy night out. The venue in Sint Niklaas saw some familiar faces tonight, topped off with one Finland’s greatest for what would become an excellent evening of sorrow and gloom.

For the tenth edition of the Darken the Moon Festival, the organization came up with a lineup that no self-respecting fan of doom metal should want to pass up. Even on a lazy Sunday afternoon in autumn.

Recently the living gods that are Tool announced a new tour. We already had a taste at De Casino, Sint-Niklaas with Ænima. Not just a tribute band, but a true Tool Experience!

Under the banner of Heralds of the Fall, the autumn wind had blown three exceptional artists our way from the prestigious German music label Prophecy Productions to the cozy venue the Casino in Sint Niklaas: Sun of thee Sleepless, Helrunar and Empyrium.

On a hot summer’s day in June the doom had come to Sint Niklaas, where at the cozy venue De Casino a small festival was held with some small, but no less exquisite bands: Shades of Black: The Doom Chapters.
