The DIY stage is where Tolminator’s underground spirit really comes to life. We caught a few of the shows featuring local Slovenian bands like Poguba, Chik Pawza and mal pre mal getting the chance to step into the spotlight and show what they’ve got, but also bands like Austrian sludgers Thosar, Basque country grinders Mutilated Judge and Californian death metallers Dark Insanity!
On August 5th, Lokerse Feesten had an interesting line-up with big names on the mainstage, but also some pretty big acts on the much smaller stage in the Club Studio Brussel with Light Of Eternity, Redd Kross, envy and Coilguns!
After crushing all big stages in Belgium and abroad, this is the second to last show of Rhea before they take a break performing live for at least a year. They made one hell of a rock party with the biggest mosh pits VIERNULVIER has had since a long time and support from The RG’s!
Dinosaur Jr. hasn’t really changed – soundwise – for decades. They still play the coolest vintage gear, rock the dirtiest, grittiest fuzz pedals and turn it all up to eleven! A sheer treat for indie rockers and old souls at Trix in Antwerp with support from Garcia Peoples.
Tonight we enjoyed ourselves a bit of noise with none other than Rhode Island’s notorious Daughters, with support from Ghent’s Youff.

Saturday at Alcatraz has no shortage of Belgian talent. 🇧🇪🤘From the progressive soundscapes of Psychonaut and the unstoppable rise of Mantah to the chaos of Brutal Sphincter, the crushing grooves of Your Highness, the intensity of Divided, Ronker and Poseydon, there’s plenty of homegrown metal waiting to be discovered. Find out why each of these Belgian bands deserves a spot on your Saturday schedule. Who are you looking forward to seeing at the festival?
