Alcatraz announces the “Under One Flag” part of the 2025 line-up!

Belgian festival Alcatraz is easily one of our favorite events over summer, and one of the reasons is most definitely their outspoken support for the local, Belgian scene. Every year, a quite sizeable portion of the line-up is reserved for Belgian bands and both the music scene and fans clearly really appreciate this. Over the weekend, the organization announced a whole slab of those bands for next year’s edition, and the collection of great acts really shows how strong the Belgian music scene is. Check out the “Under One Flag” line-up:

There’s a proper serving of the extreme with black/sludge favorites Alkerdeel, groovy death metallers Bark, thrash/death metallers Cobracide, speed/black from Violent Sin, Belgium’s favorite thrash/speed metal band Evil Invaders, thrashers Primal Creation, extremists Slaughter Messiah and black/thrash outfit Devastatiön (who is coming to Asgaard to celebrate their “20 years of tolerance”: https://fb.me/e/hAjxCI0ba).

On top of that there’s a nice bit of core from deathcore adepts Coffin Feeder, H8000 hardcore legends Congress, beatdown hardcore group Whatever It Takes and metalcore promises Signs of Algorithm.

And not to forget the post-metal/rock project Briqueville, the doomsters of Cult of Scarecrow, power metal act Magic Kingdom, heavy rock ‘n’ rollers Promise Down and Belgium’s top Status Quo tribute band BelgianQuoBand!
