The UK progressive metallers Tesseract were touring around Europe to present their latest release ‘War of Being’, bringing a visual and musical delight to a packed Tavastia in Helsinki! With them, they brought the German proggers of Unprocessed and US mathcore up-and-comers of The Callous Daoboys!


Things are getting ramped up now that the summer period is at its end! Great releases are coming out soon and it showed in the past week with new singles from Slipknot, Gaerea, Alien Weaponry, Brymir, Orbit Culture, Suasion ft. Steffi Pacson and The Callous Daoboys that amazed us!

This list is not for the faint of heart. A selection of releases that we experienced as being some of the most intense unleashed during 2021.

Not including these records in my top 2020 was just too painful.
