For their recent gig in Tampere’s Tavara-Asema, Viikate went with a different approach with what they called a “quiet concert”. While not everyone was happy with the set up of the gig we really enjoyed the calm and relaxed feeling of the show.

Mixing classical music and metal is a well tested concept by now. The Rock Orchestra did a great job when they came to Tampere-Talo on Monday the 7th of April.
Noora Louhimo Acoustic Experience played a wide variety of songs during their gig at Telakka in Tampere last week. From rock covers, Battle Beast songs over to some of Noora’s own work, the show had something for every taste.

Last Friday, Stratovarius and Sonata Arctica came to Tampere’s fully packed Tavara-Asema for their “Nordic Power Titans tour 2025”. In addition, they also brought along Arion to warm up the room for them. While the sound wasn’t always quite on point, that didn’t stop the evening from being a great amount of fun. TOTO recently played a show at a full Nokia Arena in Tampere together with Christopher Cross, marking the end of their ‘The Dogz Of Oz’ European Tour. The evening delivered a great feeling of nostalgia.

Marko Hietala had a special Valentine’s gift for us when he played a sold out show at Olympia-kortteli in Tampere. The show also included appearances from Noora Louhimo and JP Leppäluoto as guest vocals on some of his songs. Thanks Master Events for the access. Getting a show packed on a Wednesday isn’t something everyone can do, but for a supergroup like The Halo Effect no problem. Together with Bloodred Hourglass they brought one heck of a hot show to Tampere’s Tavara-Asema a couple of weeks ago. Thanks to Fullsteam Agency for welcoming us to the event!

Modern metal outfit CyHra came to present their latest album ‘The Vertigo Trigger’ to their Finnish fans starting with a show at Yo-Talo in Tampere, with support band Neonfly, turning the night into a celebration of good music and community!
Amorphis managed to captivate our reporter once again when attending to their stop at Pakkahuone in Tampere on their “Halo Finland 2023 Tour”, a wonderful night hosted by TuskaLive and Greybeard Concerts & Management.
To celebrate their 20th anniversary, Poets of the Fall went on tour through Europe and we caught them on the last stop in Tampere at the Pakkahuone venue to start the last month of the year in style. And went on an emotional journey through the history of the band with them.

Poisonblack returned for a couple more shows in October 2023, organized by Fullsteam Agency. We were present for the gig at Klubi in Tampere, a true celebration of the gothic metal legends they are.
The amount of intensity and energy that came from Igorrr at the Pakkahuone venue in Finland last month, and with them Amenra and Der Weg Einer Freiheit, was something that was perfect to start off the week! If we still somewhat had the Monday blues, they made sure to absolutely blast it away!
At the end of October, Volbeat impressed the people at the Nokia Arena in Tampere, Finland with a rock ‘n’ roll show of epic proportions. With them came Skindred and Bad Wolves for a decent warm-up and party!
Before the grounds of “The Island of Hell” was taken over by SaariHelvetti festival, we got to welcome Apocalyptica, Wheel and Cyan Kicks for an amazing night!
Wasted did another small Finnish tour together with their vocalist’s new project, so I had to be there!
