Tuska shares first batch of names for 2026, spearheaded by the 2 confirmed headliners Bring Me The Horizon and Bad Omens!
The gates of Suvilahti will open once more as Tuska Festival returns to Helsinki on June 26–28, 2026, and the first wave of names has just dropped. Leading the charge are none other than Bring Me The Horizon, the genre-shaping giants from Sheffield who have consistently blurred the lines between metalcore, alternative rock, and electronic experimentation, and making a glorious return after their memorable show last year. Add to that Bad Omens, the U.S. metalcore powerhouse whose meteoric rise and massive hooks have taken the scene by storm, making up for having to cancel some editions back. Together, they set the tone for a festival that promises to balance modern firepower with heavy metal tradition.
The announcement doesn’t stop there: fans can also look forward to the emotive and dynamic sounds of The Plot In You, cosmic death metal explorers Blood Incantation, and prog/power veterans Queensrÿche, bringing timeless classics to the Tuska stage. From the crushing groove of metallic hardcore stars Kublai Khan TX and Malevolence, to the melodic mastery of Sweden’s Soilwork, the progressive brutality of Rivers of Nihil, and Finnish folk metal warriors Ensiferum, the spectrum of heavy music is well represented.
Tuska also brings back Bloodred Hourglass, returning as one of Finland’s most consistent modern melodic death metal exports (bringing with them a bag full of new songs since they’re releasing their new album soon), alongside the bombastic power metal of Majestica and the rising force of Neckbreakker, who some might know from Tuska 2023 as Nakkeknækker, who back then didn’t even have any music released. Adding further diversity, U.S. mathcore eccentrics The Callous Daoboys and Finnish newcomers Melrose Avenue round out the first announcement with a youthful punch.
With such a varied opening lineup, from scene-defining headliners to underground innovators, Tuska 2026 is already again shaping up to be another unforgettable weekend of metal and alternative music, continuing their path of trying to speak to the new generations of heavy and alternative music fans.
