Photo Reports

In the beginning of the month, the streets of Brussels turned black and the sky was filled with smoke for 3 days in a row: Rammstein was in town, and they held nothing back!

No festivals in Belgium this summer for Iron Maiden, but instead they came for an evening to the Sportpaleis venue in Antwerp for their fans to witness the heavy metal heroes live, with support of The Raven Age.

An amazing evening of singing and screaming along to the Dutch songs of the metal Belgian sensation Fleddy Melculy at the VIERNULVIER venue in Ghent. Support came from their friends of Tusky.

Cottrell

Liège-based sludge metal outfit Cottrell’s first show in Flanders in our very own Asgaard venue showed a whole lot of potential!

The Scottish pirates of Alestorm docked their pirate ship in Torhout, Belgium. A sold out venue was ready to party with them, fantasy power metallers Gloryhammer, the dwarves of Windrose and fellow pirates Rumahoy.

Black and white photo of a concert shot from the right side of the stage. The left half of the image is darkened with the audience on the bottom left. Light streams in from the top right down to the middle center, illuminating the stage. The sihouette of a guitar player can be seen at the front of the stage, approaching the crowd.

After almost 30 years of rocking Flemish stages, the legendary Clement Peerens Explosition is calling it quits or as they would say “kuist zijn schup af”. A sad loss for Belgian music, but we were there to capture them going out with a blast at one of their farewell shows at De Roma in Antwerp.

Jennifer Batten

Jennifer Batten recently did a club tour in Europe. We went to see her at her stop in Zaal Goedleven in Ghent, Belgium and were pleasantly surprised by a night filled with pop and rock classics by a music legend.

After crushing all big stages in Belgium and abroad, this is the second to last show of Rhea before they take a break performing live for at least a year. They made one hell of a rock party with the biggest mosh pits VIERNULVIER has had since a long time and support from The RG’s!
