Olkoth’s debut album “At The Eye of Chaos” is a superior death metal record that is highly recommended for the aficionados of extreme and technical music, do not hesitate to tune into the madness, released via Everlasting Spew Records.
“War Against All” is a declaration of war crafted purely in the spirit of Norwegian black metal. On the tenth album, mastermind and founder Demonaz proves that he is the man behind the legacy of Immortal. Out via Nuclear Blast.
Finnish black metal quartet Ondfødt has refined its craft on the fourth album “Det Österbottniska Mörkre”. The songs are packed full of tremolos and blistering tempos, showcasing an outstanding songwriting talent from these Finns. Set for release via Black Lion Records on May 26th.

On their seventh album “Katharsis” Keep of Kalessin unfolds a formidable array of blazing riffs, majestic symphonic arrangements and epic song structures combined with rapid ferocity, mastermind Obsidian Claw may have delivered his best outing since the band’s 2006 album “Armada”. The debut offering “The Ravening” of the Finnish symphonic black metal project Argenthorns shows the unique flair from the sole composer Lord Vrăjitor (Warmoon Lord). The album presents the imaginative and creative art of baroque symphonic black metal that aligns with bands like Bal-Sagoth, Limbonic Art, and Tartaros, released via Avantgarde Music.
Mystic Circle’s 9th album “Erzdämon” is a real work of menace, and it is as fierce and brutal as its predecessor. But this time the duo has injected tons of melodic hooks while staying true to their sound, the album is highly recommended for fans of Cradle of Filth, Dimmu Borgir and Old Man’s Child. Grá brings plenty of aggression and a variety of riffs. Arguably the fourth album “Lycaon” is the band’s most varied record to date. The band gives a perfect example of the dynamic proportions with Heljarmadr once again proving he’s one of the best vocalist in black metal. Out via Avantgarde Music.
In similar ways to the Scandinavian black metal music, the multi-instrumentalist Alex Poole has managed to strengthen the songs with uncompromising aggression. The new songs emphasize an oppressive atmosphere, and the sophomore “Totenpass” differs from the debut on many levels bringing an immense scale of ferocity. Out today via Amor Fati Productions.
