It has become a true tradition that DIE HAPPY plays some warm-up gigs at the end of December for the shows or tours of the following years. In this round, it’s the ‘Pre-Anniversary Shows 2023’, preparing for the upcoming anniversary tour in 2024, celebrating their 30th anniversary as a band. Support came from Templemind at their stop in Stuttgart’s Im Wizemann in Germany!

The year wrapping up means that we’ll be looking back at the amazing things we’ve experienced, and “album of the year” lists. We’d also like to give some attention to our talented concert photographers who go out and cover shows for us. So here is a first in a series of articles where our artists pick their favorite pictures of 2023 with Anna/ScarletMemory Photography who mostly roams around in Tampere, Finland and pictures from bands like Pain, Sólstafir, Eleine, Myrath, Battle Beast, Brymir, Sabaton, Mors Subita, Lordi, Metalite, Shereign, Diablo, Before The Dawn, Wolfheart, Sonata Arctica, Deathstars, Brother Firetribe, Psychework, Apocalyptica, Voidfallen, Poets of the Fall, Amorphis, Lost Society, and Everwave!
Shereign finished off their year with a gig at Tampere YO-Talo on December 9th, organized by Nem Agency. They brought along Ikinä, Everwave and Lastout to make the night complete with up-and-coming Finnish artists.
The last Wednesday night of November at The Clyde Theatre in Fort Wayne, Indiana was definitely NOT a “Nightmare” or a cause for “Panic” for fans anxiously waiting to catch a stop on the “Blackout Tour” with From Ashes to New, The Word Alive, Catch Your Breath and Ekoh!
We had a great time catching Poets of the Fall on the last stop of their 20th anniversary tour, at Tampere’s Pakkahuone venue on December 1st!
